Chestnut Hill Renovation

These homeowners desired a more casual, flexible and updated kitchen living space for their family of four. The dining room was relocated to the more formal side of this symmetrical Colonial style house, allowing for the kitchen and a den to be opened into one large and airy space for family life. The kitchen was completely refitted, small opening were enlarged and the rear entry door relocated to maximize light and access to the lovely rear yard. A full wall of windows lets in ample sunlight. The island multitasks as a kitchen table for breakfast and dinner, workspace during the day, and homework station in the evenings.
